Assam Floods: Chhattisgarh Govt Provides Rs 5 Crore Aid

The Chhattisgarh government has extended Rs 5 crore in financial assistance for relief and rehabilitation of families affected by the devastating floods in Assam . Chhattisgarh Governor Ramen Deka shared the development on social media, stating that Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Assembly Speaker Dr Raman Singh met him at Lok Bhavan and handed over the cheque for the flood-affected families of Assam. Deka said the assistance was being provided by the Chhattisgarh government to support Assam during the ongoing flood crisis. The contribution comes after Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai spoke to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and took stock of the flood situation in the state. Sai had expressed solidarity with the people of Assam and conveyed his concern over the difficulties faced by families affected by the floods.
